This week's Cocktail Feature:
The Jel-low Life
Whiskey Jello Shot & a can of PBR
1 ounce package of unflavored gelatin
Juice of two lemons
4 tablespoons of simple syrup
2 ½ cups of water
1 ½ cups of bourbon or rye whiskey
Begin by pouring gelatin and a small splash of water in a pint size measuring cup to soften the gelatin, while bringing some water to boil.
In a separate bowl, combine whiskey and lemon juice. Once the water is boiling, pour it in the measuring cup and stir to combine with gelatin.
Combine the measuring cup’s contents with the separate bowl and then measure out another half cup of boiling water. Once contents are combined well in the bowl, pour into vessel of your choice and cool overnight.
Follow with a PBR chaser, and watch out because everybody will want some!!
